Will provide promotional track for Chance Pe Dance to add zing to the music

Despite having Adnan Sami on board scoring the music for Shahid Kapoor-Genelia D'Souza starrer Chance Pe Dance, Pritam has been approached to give the film that one-hit track that can be used as a promotional tool.

Pritam has a record string of hit tracks (all the way from APKGK's Main Tera Dhadkan Teri, SIK's Jee Karda to JWM's Mauja Hi Mauja) was approached because Adnan's tracks did not have the desired results. Also since the film is about music. It is essential to have that one chartbuster song.

Past connection

It is believed that the suggestion to get Pritam on board came from Shahid, as the composer has given hit music for his films like Jab We Met and Kismat Konnection. A source reveals, "Shahid asked his friend and director Ken Ghosh to add a song.

The new song will be okayed by Shahid now that he is back from Bangkok where he was shooting for the Yash Raj movie. There will also be a video for the same in coming weeks. The promotion for the song will begin shortly after it is ready."

Ghosh confirms, "Yes, we have take a song by Pritam. We are planning to shoot it later this week. It's a super-hit song!"
