Shahid-Kareena MILENGE MILENGE in February!

One of the only two solo hits (the other being MUJHE KUCH KEHNA HAI) of Kareena Kapoor's 9-10 year career has been JAB WE MET, co-starring Shahid Kapoor. The film not only went on to become a blockbuster, it also won Kareena numerous awards and accolades for her heartwarming performance.
Naturally expectations from their latest film, Boney Kapoor's MILENGE MILENGE are high despite quite a few drawbacks. The most prominent being its delay in getting completed due to a number of reasons. When the film was underway it was quite a hot proposition with the real life couple Shahid and Kareena being together, but once the two fell out the film got caught in an imbroglio.

 It's an all-out war to make Shahid Kapoor-Kareena Kapoor's last film together (at least for a while), a worthy farewell.
Boney Kapoor, who has three films including Wanted (featuring Salman Khan) and It's My Life (with Hurman Baweja in his comeback role) ready for release, is at the moment focusing entirely on giving Milenge Milenge a 2009 look.
And for this purpose the Milenge Milenge crew recently slipped into Delhi to re-shoot portions of the film that might have got dated.

While his brother Anil Kapoor gets all the accolades for Slumdog Millionaire, filmmaker Boney Kapoor also has a reason to smile now. His film starring Shahid-Kareena, which had been in the cans for almost two years, is now all set to release soon.
Milenge Milenge was stuck after Kareena and Shahid broke up post Jab We Met. Post their split Boney was keen to cash in on his project as the last one to feature the ex-lovers. But neither Shahid nor Kareena was in a mood to dub for the film.
The good news is that Kareena has now agreed to dub. When my little birdie chatted with Boney, he revealed that Milenge Milenge is complete and Shahid has dubbed his portions. "I have spoken to Kareena and she has promised that she will be giving us dates for this month. I am now planning to release the film very soon," he gushed.
Milenge Milenge is a romantic comedy being directed by Satish Kaushik.
